Carter Observatory Trip

Visit Wellington's remarkable Carter Observatory, located at the top of the Botanic Garden overlooking Wellington. Take in a planetarium show, check out the interactive multimedia exhibitions, and if the weather cooperates, look through the Observatory's historical refracting telescope. Learn about our place in the universe, the southern skies, the history of European and Polynesian navigation, and Maori mythology. NB You need to be a member of the con to book for the trip.

There will be a fee for this event, to cover transport and admission. The precise amount is yet to be confirmed, but probably around $25.
