The Masquerade

The Masquerade is one of the highlights of the convention. Show off your costuming skills, or demonstrate any other talents that can be displayed on stage. Entrants will be judged on workmanship, creativity, and on presentation, where applicable - it's more entertaining if you can put on a short skit or in-character performance rather than just walking on and off. Costumes may be replicas of designs from TV, film, comics, etc, or completely orginal creations. You, or someone in your team, must make your own costume in order to be judged on workmanship, but bought or hired costumes are permitted if you're only entering for the performance category. Team entries may include members who only make the costumes and don't go up on stage. We'll have a prize pool with a value of at least $500 for Masquerade entries, so it's worth your while to get out your sewing machines!
